Baierl Automotive Group Teams Up With
American Cancer Society in the Fight Against Cancer
“A wonderful, caring neighbor in our community.” That’s how Glenn Callihan, Vice President of the American Cancer Society’s Western Pennsylvania Region, described Baierl Automotive as he accepted a $30,000 donation from Lee Baierl, President; and Bob Baierl, Vice President/Operations; at Baierl Automotive.
During the entire month of December, Baierl Automotive teamed up with the American Cancer Society for their first annual Holiday Drive for the Cure campaign, supporting the programs and services of the American Cancer Society. During the campaign, Baierl Automotive donated $50 to the American Cancer Society for every car that they sold in December. All totaled, nearly 600 cars were sold for a total of $30,000 being donated to the American Cancer Society. "In these difficult financial times, it's because of companies like Baierl that we are able to respond to our current 47% increase in requests for patient services and information that we are currently receiving in our call center,” added Callihan.
