The Honda Odyssey has been redesigned and is all-new for 2018, with a spacious interior, top-notch tech features and the safety expected from Honda. It’s a minivan Pittsburgh, Wexford and Butler families will come to enjoy for short trips, long family vacations, and anything in between. 2018 Honda Odyssey Interior Seating
With seating for eight, the Honda Odyssey is perfect for large families or for picking up a few of your children’s friends on the way to practice. There’s plenty of room to stretch your legs in the Odyssey, with 40.9 in. of legroom in the first and second rows and 38.1 in. in the third row.
No matter what you want to store in the Odyssey you can do it. Groceries? Check. Sports equipment? No problem. Backpacks? The kids can enjoy the ride while they’re stashed away.
A new feature for 2018 is Honda’s Magic Slide second-row seating. These seats adjust laterally, backward and forward, and can be set in five different positions. Use this to bring a child’s seat within reach or seat everyone happily so there aren’t any sibling rivalries that need to be settled while driving.
Honda Odyssey Safety Features
The entire family will be safe in the 2018 Odyssey, as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has given it a 5-Star Safety Rating. The Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure minimizes the impacts of a collision if there is one, while the SmartVent® front side airbags and advanced airbag system protects everyone in the cabin.
The Odyssey comes standard with a multi-angle rearview camera, allowing you look at three different angles to give a fuller view of what’s going on when putting the car in reverse. The available Honda Sensing® suite of driver assist technology offers the Lane Keeping Assist System to guide your car back to a detected lane, and Adaptive Cruise Control, which can keep a distance from the vehicle in front of you even if traffic slows down.
Try out the Tech Features in the 2018 Odyssey
The list of tech features in the 2018 Honda Odyssey is impressive. It comes standard with remote entry and push-button start, giving you a leg up when your hands are a bit tied with a large crew along for the ride. The 5-inch display screen comes standard, but an 8-inch touchscreen is available.
The available CabinControl™ feature lets anyone add a song to the playlist with the convenient CabinControl™ app, and the advanced rear entertainment system, an available feature, keeps those riding in the back entertained throughout the entire ride, with a 10.2-inch display screen for 2nd– and 3rd-row riders.
